Wedding Cakes: Pricing
CONGRATULATIONS!
There is a wedding
or anniversary in your future and we would love to make
a beautiful and delicious cake for your reception and
party. Scrumptious cakes are our “Tizz-ness!”
Once you have determined your date and reception
site, please call us to make a cake consultation appointment.
To do a quality job, we book a limited number of cakes
per weekend, so call us as soon as you can to check the
availability of your event date. We will ask you for
your wedding date, event site, time and approximate number
of guests when you call.
- Appointments are available by calling Tizzerts.
We have weekday and weekend times.
- During your appointment, we will show you our extensive
cake portfolio, discuss the necessary cake size,
any themes (colors, flowers) and styles you prefer
and give you yummy cake samples to taste. It takes
approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour. If you have
seen any photos you like in cookbooks or magazines,
bring them to us!!
- We will create a unique design for your event,
write up all the details with prices and ask for
a deposit of 50% of the estimated total to hold the
date. (No cake is confirmed until a deposit is paid.)
All final details are flexible until 2 weeks before
your event date.
Design a Cake
We invite you to send us your ideas for your
cake using our Design-a-Cake tool. It
is not the final order, but will give us some insight
into what you have in mind. After we get your
initial ideas, we will contact you to discuss prices,
timetables and arrange any meetings you would like.
Wedding Cake Prices:
Always Included
- An elegant, unique, tiered cake in keeping with
the style of your wedding
- Freshly-made cake layers, filling(s) and buttercream
icing
- Wrapped, sturdy masonite board for cake base
- Box and instructions for saving your top tier for
your 1st anniversary
Additional charges:
- Extra decorations, such as fondant bows, sugar
flowers, sugared fruit, separators,etc.
- Delivery charges (see below)
- Set-up charges, sales tax (2%)
These prices per person are for wedding cake servings,
which are thinner than everyday cake slices.
The professional server should be aware of the desired
serving amounts.
Our per-serving prices begin at $3.25 for our simplest
designs and increase to $10.00 depending on the detail
and complexity of the cake decorations.
Delivery Charges $100.00
per cake within Charlotte city limits
$75.00 per hour delivery time outside the city limits
Set-up Charges $25.00
minimum per cake
Placement of fresh flowers and greenery
(varies depending on the complications)
Tizzerts does not provide non-edible adornments, such
as candles, balloons, and fresh flowers.
